The second Open All-Russian Festival dedicated to the Art of Bondage - BondageFest - was held on March 1st, 2008, in Moscow, Russia.

Sixteen masters from several different cities of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus were participating in this Fest, including Moscow, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk and Minsk.

BondageFest generated an extensive interest from popular press and television. The Fest organizers accredited a lot of press representatives, such as three TV channels (Russia Today, TNT, RenTV), magazines "Men's Health" and "Trend", several internet sources (darkside.ru, moskva.com, turist.ru and so on) and over twenty professional photographers.

Our Festival presented practically all types of bondage: Shibari and Hojo Jutsu; mummification, latching and suspension, ropes, chains, straps and even fishing-line! During the ten hour show every art of bondage school was represented, from fighting to painful, from esthetic to erotic. One of the stars of the show was a barbed wire suspension. Distinguishing qualities of BondageFest 2008 were master-classes, conducted by participants during intermissions giving chance to any willing festival's visitor to be tied-up.

Within the framework of the festival, there was a thematic photo exhibition, representing works of many professionals of the art of bondage. Every observer of the festival noted that the level of this year's BondageFest have increased considerably with respect to the last year's inaugural festival.
